Understanding Organisational Stress Course
Introduction
Welcome to course three in the Stress Management Series, “Understanding Organisational Stress.” This course focuses on guidelines of good practice in relation to workplace stress as recommended by the health and safety executive and looks at how to deal with stress at a company level to ensure that obligations are met.
Course content
First of all we will discuss the importance of dealing with organisational stress and then go on to look at the range of factors that contribute to stress at work. Next we will examine how to risk assess workplace stress and the relevant control measures that can be put in place. Finally I will outline the guidelines for an effective stress policy and highlight types of stress management intervention that can be implemented at a company level.
