Introduction

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 2002 requires employers to reduce the risk of manual handling to a low as is reasonably practicable.
The Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974 requires the employer to ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of all his employees.
The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 requires employers to assess the work activities.

Course Content

Introduction

Rolling a client over in bed
Moving a client from bed to chair
Using a slide sheet to reposition a client
Using a sling hoist

Assessment

On completion of the course there will be 10 multiple-choice questions. The pass mark is 90%

Certificates

Your employees will be able to download a copy of their certificate once they have successfully completed their assessment.
