Introduction

Are you a working in a retirement or care home environment and likely to come into contact with Vulnerable adults?

Who is the course aimed at?

Employees involved in the care of, or with the potential to be involved with the care of, vulnerable adults.

Aims of the training

To provide employees with an understanding of the principles and concepts required in dealing with vulnerable adults. It also equips the learner with definitions of terms, including harm, and an overview of the POVA scheme.

Assessment

On completion of the course there will be 10 multiple-choice questions. The pass mark is 90%
