Care Homes – Guidance for checks against the POVA list Course
Introduction
Are you a Care Home manager with Recruitment authority over Care Home Staff who work with vulnerable adults? Or a manager within an Employment Business or Agency? Or an individual care worker?
Who is the course aimed at?
Managers with responsibility for Recruiting staff, and other supervisory positions within a Care Home who care for vulnerable adults. Employment Agencies/Businesses and Care home staff who may be required to understand their own position with regard to the Protection of Vulnerable Adults.
Aims of the training
To provide all staff with a systematic understanding of the Employment Checks Required for both the Provider and individual, and the process of Performing these checks against the protection of vulnerable Adult list.

Assessment
On completion of the course there will be 10 multiple-choice questions. The pass mark is 90%
Certificates
Your employees will be able to download a copy of their certificate once they have successfully completed their assessment.
